What a wonderful book for girls (of all ages, I LOVE this!) The stories of Mary, Eve, Esther, and other women in the bible, and the personal love letter from God that follows each one will delight and inspire! Because just like the other books in the Love Letters from God series, the bible stories are relayed to children in a fresh, creative, kid-friendly manner. With simply beautiful artwork. And each sweet lift-the-flap love letter from God PERSONALLY reveals how awesome God's love for THEM is! What an inspired way to inform or remind children that they can have a personal relationship with God! At the end of this book is a large lift the flap heart entitled, "My Love Letter to God." The message on the front invites the child to write to God: "If you could write a letter and put it in God's hand, you know that God would read it, and truly understand -- everything you're feeling, every word you'd say, You're God's precious daughter -- write to God today." Again, God knows you, loves you, and wants to have a relationship with you. I love everything about this book, and the whole series. All are so very important for a child's heart.
This is a delightful book. Each story comes to life with the author's engaging adjectives and dialogue. These 14 Girls of the Bible give hope, courage, and strength--- God's love shining through. Each story has the girl's name, their story (with reference to where you can find it in the Bible), God's Wonderful Word's to You (1-2 lines of scripture to tuck inside your heart) and a (lift the flap) Love Letter written to you from God, the book ends with a heart shaped flap for you to write your own letter to God. The entire Love Letters From God series makes Scripture alive and relevant to many ages. This Girl's Heart version is the same high quality engaging illustrations with a pink/purple, flower/butterfly theme throughout. I own a copy and have already given one to a special little girl in my life. A perfect gift for any girl drawn to princesses--a lovely way see God's care for us woven throughout the stories of the Girls in the Bible---and His call to each of our hearts.
Even better after reading. I learned things I never knew before. This was by far the best present I could give my 5 year old Princess. I customized each letter by adding her name in vinyl. You can't go wrong with this book. Every little girl needs to know the love God had for her & this book will teach exactly that unconditional love.
Another beautiful Love Letters from God book from Glenys Nellist. These stories touched my heart as did the others in this series. Beautiful illustrations and the letters from God are relevant for all ages. I will be giving one to our granddaughter for her 10th birthday and am considering giving one to our other granddaughter who just graduated high school. I think girls of any age would be touched by the words in these stories about women of the Bible. I know I was! Beautiful illustrations. I am adding this to my daily devotions.

This is my absolute favorite children’s author. I have ordered (& read) all of her books and have pre-ordered the ones being published in 2019! The books are perfect for the grandkids – & also wonderful for the adults who read them to the children! They are extremely well written and the illustrations are adorable! I’m buying copies for all the kids on my Christmas list this year!
We love The Love Letters from God books. Endearing and sweet. Completely Bible based with a sense of humor too. My daughter received it in her Easter basket and loved it. Especially glad to share stories of the women in Scripture that are often overlooked.
