About the Author
Jim Davis was born on July 28, 1945, in Marion, Indiana. He later attended Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana, where he distinguished himself by earning one of the lowest cumulative grade point averages in the history of the university. The Garfield strip was born on June 19, 1978, syndicated in forty-one U.S. newspapers. As I've said in other Garfield reviews-- my son learned to read with Garfield. I love that there are about a million of these books, the "Fat cat 3-packs" are a great buy, and unlike a lot of other comics or graphic novels aimed at kids, there aren't misspelled words or off-tone humor... just perfect for a kid in elementary school (though I've seen his grandparents reading them, too...) He has loved Garfield books for about 2 or 3 years now, and I don't see that stopping any time soon when I can keep adding to his library so economically. Thanks Jim Davis!
A repackaging of three of Jim Davis' previous Garfield collections. No added content but nice to see them in color.
Grandsons loved this! Gave it a big thumbs up. They had not read this one before and were thoroughly delighted.
My 7 year old daughter loves these Garfield Fat Cat 3-packs. She has been spending at least an hour each evening soaking in the lasagna loving cat comics. One item to note is that pack #10, 11 and 12 are slightly less tall books and are in black and white. The others have been in color.
Great condition. My daughter can't stop reading them.
