I swear I'll never buy anything by Ed Rosenthal again, even though he only edited the book. This book is one of the worst book purchases I've ever made. It's designed as a "handbook" which just makes it more difficult to stay on the page you're trying to look at. I was fooled and feel really stupid buying this book years ago...who the hell is JC Stitch? He was a nobody when the book was printed in 2008 and he's still a nobody.Marijuana has come a long way since these book writers started pumping out books on a subject they don't seem to be very knowledgeable about. I know this is more of a troubleshooting guide but most all the plants in all Ed's books are small and puny and sickly looking, like he doesn't have any friends that can actually grow well, but he keeps cranking out books anyway b/c that's how he takes your money. You wouldn't buy his weed on the street, Rosenthal's weed is the type that drives people to grow their own stuff in the first place. Buy books that are written by growers that are known for growing really good stuff, you can find them out there just ask around or get a subscription to High Times.
Great full color pictures really help to pin point your problems quickly. helped me out a few times now., Ed Rosenthal edited this and he really knows his stuff. At least he avoided a prison term, poor guy got railroaded. Big Fan of all his books on Growing Pot and the Ask Ed on hightimes magazine. Highly recommended!
This book is a joke. It offers nothing unique. Its gives the most basic descriptions and methods that you could easily find on youtube in 2 minutes. total waste of money
Has a lot of very useful information and is definitely worth getting.

Took a little while to get here for what I paid for shipping. I like the book. It could have had a few more descriptive examples, but it does have lots of nice pictures. Just had expected a little bit more out of it.

Definitely a good reference & help book for medical cannabis patients everywhere!I've been a WA patient since '06 & this is one of only two cannabis books I own, would recommend it highly to anyone!
