He could not believe the Instinct was so powerful – this was precisely why the Prime Leader wanted no one around the woman so that this situation would not occur! There was no “turning it off†– what was the Ambassador going to do now????I really love this series! It is well written and the characters are terrific. Grab a copy and enjoy this wonderful book!
Really enjoyed this one. I think that what makes a great romance is the trueness that supports all the "sci-fi" on top. It's fun to think about sexy super hot aliens who worship their new humans. But it's more meaningful to read about beings that learn about each other and commit to a real, permanent relationship. That's what we all want, to love and to be loved. This story was all about that. Sure, sexy gorgeous alien guy finds himself a true mate. But underneath that you find 2 lonely people. And OMG the sex is super hot! Get this one.
WOW!This book, nay this whole freaking series thus far, has been crazy awesome! I am going to take a minor break before moving on to the next book (5) in this series. Trying to savor it since it's the latest book in this series and I have just flown through these within mere days. Every book for me has been 5 stars. Trust me, if you love HOT Alien Sci-Fi but with an actual deeper plot that grows with each story; then I highly recommend that you pick this series. It says they can be read as standalones, but I strongly recommend that you read them in order as I have. They are all quick reads, but they are packed with alot of story. The best of both our reading worlds ;)These Luxurian Warriors are off the chain, let me tell you.
Very good story and a good addition to the series. I loved the main characters together, they click even though they're from very different world's and experiences. We got a chance to see more of the Luxarians world and learn a bit more about the culture, the good and the bad. I loved the idea of the sacred springs and the power of the fates. For me this was a story I just got lost in, and read straight through with only a few short breaks. I can't wait to get the next book in the series!
By now in book 4, there's a trend to how all the Luxirian warriors behave in terms of having their Instinct awoken so it really does leave much to the females to add distinction to the whole story. What's great is that there's just enough to know who the warriors are like before they become obssessed with their mates and then their whole love story snowballs into something great. With this particular pair, especially given the female protagonist illness being the main source of the plot, I love what Zoey did by allowiong another character to fill in the void of the antaaonist instead of just situational obstacles barring between the mates. With that said, I wish we could see further into the epilogue. There was a lot of questions that were addressed but not to the full extent of what Ihad hoped. Still, I enjoyed his and her story and the steamy parts in between. By far, probably one of my favorites out the series, just wished there was more top the epilogue.
I'm kind of a perfectionist, so I don't hand out five stars like candy; a writer has to THRILL me to earn a perfect five. Zoey Draven has created a perfect planet, and the aliens and humans are easy to care about and perfect, too.I highly recommend this series. The Allen's Touch is my favorite so far. You'll love hunky Rixavox and BBW girl Cecelia just like me.
Just love this series!! Big alpha males and the women strong enough to handle them. Cecelia was abducted by aliens as slaves at the "pit" along with other females and her friend Kate, who is the prime leader's mate now. Cecelia has a history of cancer and it's back. When war general and ambassador Rixavox first sees Cecelia she faints from the impact of their strong connection. His instincts tell him she is his fated mate. Will they have their HEA. Loved this book. More please.
